Ixlu ( /iʃˈluː/ ) adalah sebuah kota di peradaban Maya yang berasal dari zaman Klasik dan Pascaklasik. [ 1 ] Situs ini terletak di tanah genting yang berada di antara danau dan Salpetén di Departemen Petén , Guatemala . [ 2 ] Situs ini pernah menjadi pelabuhan yang penting dan kapal-kapal dapat memasuki Danau Petén Itzá lewat Sungai Ixlu. [ 2 ]
Di situs ini terdapat lebih dari 150 struktur, dan kebanyakan menunjukkan ciri khas Pascaklasik. [ 3 ] Situs ini sempat diselidiki oleh Don dan Prudence Rice pada tahun 1980. [ 3 ]
Ixlu terletak sekitar 28 km di sebelah selatan reruntuhan kota besar Maya pada zaman Klasik, Tikal .
