Oromo ( : Oromoo ; bahasa Ge'ez : ኦሮሞ , Oromo ) adalah kelompok etnis yang tinggal di Etiopia , Kenya utara, dan sebagian Somalia . [ 4 ] Dengan tiga puluh juta anggota, etnis ini merupakan etnis terbesar di Etiopia dan Tanduk Afrika ; berdasarkan sensus tahun 2007, diperkirakan 34,49% penduduk Etiopia merupakan suku Oromo.
