Pengawal Merah ( Hanzi : 紅衛兵, bahasa Inggris : Red Guards ) adalah unit paramiliter yang dibentuk oleh Mao Zedong sebagai alat revolusi yang dikenal sebagai Revolusi Kebudayaan dalam kurun tahun 1966 sampai dengan 1976 . Pengawal Merah ini mayoritas beranggotakan mahasiswa-mahasiswa yang menyatakan dukungan pada revolusi dan ajaran Mao.
