John S. Marmaduke (nama lahir John Sappington Marmaduke , 14 Maret 1833 – 28 Desember 1887) adalah dari 1885 sampai kematiannya pada 1887.
Pada Perang Saudara Amerika , ia menjadi perwira senior Tentara Negara Konfederasi yang mengkomandani kavaleri di . Pada 6 September 1863, Marmaduke menewaskan brigjen Konfederasi dalam sebuah duel. Mayjen Sterling Price memerintahkan penangkapan Marmaduke, tetapi menangguhkan perintah tersebut karena pergerakan pasukan Union ke Little Rock, Arkansas . Marmaduke tak pernah menghadapi pengadilan militer untuk duel tersebut.
