Dayuan ( Ta-yuan ; pengucapan yang direkonstruksi: /daːds qon/; pengucapan Tionghoa Pertengahan yang direkonstruksi menurut Edwin G. Pulleyblank : /daj ʔuan/; Hanzi : 大宛 ; Pinyin : Dàyuān ; Wade–Giles : Ta 4 -yuan 1 ; harfiah: ' Ionia Besar') adalah sebuah negara di lembah Ferghana , Asia Tengah , yang disebutkan dalam karya-karya sejarah Tionghoa Catatan Sejarawan Besar dan Buku Han . Kata tersebut disebutkan dalam catatan-catatan dari penjelajah Tiongkok terkenal Zhang Qian pada 130 SM dan sejumlah kedutaan besar yang mengikutinya ke Asia Tengah. Negara Dayuan umumnya dikaitkan dengan Lembah Ferghana , dan kota Yunani-nya (sekarang Khujand , Tajikistan ).
