Clifford Edmund Bosworth FBA (29 Desember 1928 – 28 Februari 2015) adalah seorang sejarawan dan orientalis Inggris, yang mengkhususkan diri dalam studi Arab dan Iran . Ia menerima gelar BA dari Universitas Oxford dan gelar MA dan PhD dari Universitas Edinburgh . Ia menduduki jabatan permanen di Universitas St Andrews, Universitas Manchester, dan Center for the Humanities di Universitas Princeton . Ia telah menulis ratusan artikel dalam jurnal akademik maupun volume komposit. Kontribusi lainnya adalah hampir 200 artikel di Encyclopaedia of Islam dan sekitar 100 artikel di Encyclopædia Iranica , serta artikel-artikel untuk Encyclopædia Britannica dan Encyclopedia Americana . Ia juga merupakan profesor tamu di Universitas Exeter, di mana telah dijalaninya sejak tahun 2004.
