Aonyx adalah genus dari hewan berang-berang yang terdiri dari tiga spesies yaitu , serta sero ambrang . Sero ambrang ( Amblonyx cinerea ) terkadang juga dimasukkan ke dalam genus ini. Kata 'Aonyx' berarti 'tanpa cakar'. Imbuhan a berarti tanpa sementara kata onyx berarti cakar/kuku.
